2013: A Year For WordPress

We had a great 2012, and we know that 2013 will be even better! It wasn’t until 2005 that WordPress really started to gain more community support, users started coming out of the woodwork, choosing WordPress over other blogging platforms. Now we see that WordPress is used to power over 15% of the world’s one million largest websites and over 54% of all websites using a CMS.

There are reports that 22 out of every 100 new active domains in the US are running WordPress, and the popularity of WordPress can be seen in Google Trends.

This is crazy—and we the stats continue to increase! With 2013 just beginning we see an even larger trend for the growing landscape of the web, and utilizing WordPress to enhance it. There’s still some 85% of the web that needs our help in getting them on WordPress! And guess what, the guys and gals at WerkPress are up for the challenge!
